    Practice Guidelines: Our aim is to foster a secure and respectful environment for all individuals involved. Any instances of disruptive behavior, including yelling, inappropriate remarks, or threats to safety, will result in the individual being asked to leave.

    Safeguarding Patient Health Information: Your medical records are kept private and confidential at all times. Our commitment to maintaining the security of your personal health information is a fundamental aspect of our policy.

    Information on My Health Record System: We are proactive in the electronic management of health-related matters. The My Health Record system serves as a secure online repository for your health information. You have control over the data you input and can manage access permissions. Sharing your health information with your healthcare providers, hospitals, and doctors is at your discretion.

    To register or access a My Health Record, visit my.gov.au and follow the provided instructions. Alternatively, you can complete registrations at our Practice.

    Upholding Privacy & Confidentiality: Safeguarding the confidentiality of your personal health information is a top priority. The Practice adheres to strict security measures for the protection of your health records, as outlined in the Privacy Act 1988. All Health Service Providers are obligated to comply with the Act, which encompasses the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) governing the handling of personal information.

    Consent & Access: Ensuring your informed and voluntary consent is paramount, especially regarding the collection of Health Information. Your medical history is essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment. For the sake of quality and continuity of care, it may be necessary to share your health information with other healthcare providers. Under certain circumstances, a Medical Practitioner may be legally obliged to disclose personal information.

    Requests to view, amend, or obtain a copy of your medical records should be discussed with your Doctor and submitted in writing.

    Feedback is Welcome: Your suggestions are valuable to us, and we welcome your feedback. Occasionally, we may request patients to participate in a private survey to aid us in enhancing our services. Your name is not necessary for the survey.

Alternatively, you can submit feedback or suggestions anonymously through the Feedback form available at the reception. We take all feedback and complaints seriously, as they serve as a crucial resource for us to continually enhance our services and better cater to your needs.
